As the sole organization in the Pike’s Peak Region focused on the well-being of LGBTQI youth by creating an inclusive, respectful and accepting space that provides vital services on suicide prevention, safe sex, advocacy, adult living skills and LGBTQI youth focused events like Queer Prom attended by 200 youth in April 2015!
Inside Out also teaches schools, local businesses and organizations how to intervene in bias-based bullying and to respond in culturally competent ways to the needs of LGBTQI young people… just to name a few of the things we do.
We’ve even taught bus drivers how to intervene and keep their student riders safe from bullying!
